>>53269956>>53269976There are canonical examples of Pokemon who aren't in the same egg group falling in love with each other. In the manga Magical Pokémon Journey, and Arbok (Field/Dragon) falls in love with a Wigglytuff (Fairy), which she reciprocates. In addition, It wouldn't make any sense for attract to work on Pokemon of different egg groups if Pokemon could only fall in love with the same egg group. It also wouldn't make sense for Pokemon to fall in love with humans (which has been seen multiple times) if they only fell in love with species they could breed with.
>Pokemon don"t love they're wild animalsObjectively untrue not only for the reasons I provided, but also because:
A. Pokemon are both canonically sapient and clearly possess human-like emotions and can form strong attachments
B. Real life animals can form pair-bond attachments with things/animals they can't breed with (RIP Grape-kun)
You know what's even worse than canonfags? Canonfags who don't even understand the canon.
