It still is the best of the hitmons because it learns rapid spin and pursuit naturally (although hp ghost would be better than pursuit as it's a physical move) as well as high jump kick, reversal and mach punch by breeding. But yeah, it isn't spectacular.

Nearly 15-16 years ago I made it to Red despite my Gold cartridge having a dead internal battery. My GBA's Battery died before I beat him and I lost my save, but this was the team I remember having.
