Which one should I get for the 3ds? Will try to get over level 100 pokemon for Bank, and also to check their stats
Just gotta be gen 1 since gen 2 patched shit and is also generally worse.

Yellow if you want all the starters, Red and Blue are almost interchangable. Really it comes down to what Hidden Abilities or Good IVs you want

You can't transfer the Level 100+ Pokemon to Bank

Besides the answer is either Red or Blue, because Green is only available through the Japanese eShop and the Missingno. glitch isn't as easy to do in Yellow

just get them all, theyre like 10$ each. also all mons xfered from gen 1-2 VC to bank to home, all have their hidden ability and like 3 perfect stats

You want both Gen 1 and 2, if you have multiple 3DSes as you can use them for easy shiny Pokemon.

Wait until after Pokémon Day, they may outright just announce these games for the Switch
Really with their system of how transfers work I don't see them throwing away that work with Bank being gone in a year

If they tease them for GB NSO (hopefully with HOME and Stadium support) then it would be easier to get those if you already pay a NSO sub. However, do remember that at one point when NSO support is done (dead as they are killing 3DS eshop soon) then your rental NSO games will be unaccesible because I don't believe Ninty would be merciful to leave them for free after support actually dies. In that case getting the 3DS VCs at least gives you some peace of mind knowing they can't just take your access away

Unless you really want the Celebi, you could always just install Luma3DS and then install Gameyob, a GB(C) emulator with full-screen support, multiple save states, speed up and you can use PKheX to move Pokemon to legit saves of 3DS games then put em on bank n home.
Otherwise, Yellow and Crystal are probably your best bets.
