Every enemy in the game follows one of the same ~5 behavior patterns shown to you in the first area of the game and then never expanded upon or changed in any way. The "combat" also only has two inputs, one of which is so buggy it's actually hilarious. Did the developers just not even consider that players might try to stun an enemy while it's currently attacking them?
PLA is an action RPG made by people who have never played an action RPG for people who have never played an action RPG. Bonus points for having an open "world" that makes Ubisoft games look fleshed-out.

Just because Unova is the last pretty good gen doesn't mean it's the best gen, that's for sure either 1 or 2, but I'd take Unova over hoenn. Either way i don't think a man alive considers 6,7,or8 the best game. Some people like scarvio bc it's the newest one I suppose. But all this genwarring is misdirection. All the new ones suck. Who gives a shit if 5 is slightly better than 3 or 4 is slightly worse or whatever. We can all agree these last four generations have all been just not good enough.
