Decent tierlist, but I just don't undestand why Platinum is all the way at the top and DP/BDSP is all the way at the bottom. Like yeah Platinum is the best way to play Sinnoh, but is largely the same with a few new things.

Why is US/UM higher than SM? Yeah it has more content, in the same way that a cheeseburger with taffy in it is more food, but sometimes things are less than the sum of their parts

OP's tierlist is pretty exaggerated but I think the DP/Pt dichotomy is pretty justified if you play on retail. OP has SV high up though so idk what he's on

Hey OP here. Without going haha dppt slow. Platinum greatly fixed the story, more Pokémon, surf and text programming speed have been significantly improved, cantina being the 3rd gym and not 5th. Realistically DPPT would’ve been in the tier above it but they’re just really bad compared to platinum. BDSP is literally just DPPT in 3D

Don't forget redesigning all of the towns/routes/etc. DP's neon green grass on every single map is just awful to look at and all of the different areas look more or less the same

The distortion world doesn't get enough appreciation for what it did for Platinum. It added a twist to the otherwise straightforward plot of evil boss destroying the universe. Catching Giratina in a place outside of space/time was a far better conclusion than just "the bad guy made an oopsie, so now you can use your masterball now."

BDSP had the Grand Underground and was much faster. Despite the exp share, its battles were harder than DP's. They should be ranked higher than DP at the very least.

Because DP is slow and broken as fuck. DP is borderline unplayable. Platinum fixes just about everything. I wouldn't put Platinum in S tier necessarily, but it's much higher than DP. BDSP is also broken and unfinished and ignores most of Platinum's improvements, which makes it fucking dumb.

Go play it again, Platinium fixes almost EVERYTHING bad D/P had and added so much other stuff ( for example character interactions- Barry was MUCH more fleshed out)

How did I change the subject? You're talking about the touchscreen. You can sort the bag and move stuff in the PC quickly with the yellow hand anyway.

sorting the bag doesnt help because the bag moves really slow for no reason in dppt and its very gross and terrible when the box has to be used with the buttons when the touchscreen that can do anything you want to do there twice as fast is taunting you with its emptiness

That makes no sense. Of course sorting the bag helps, you're getting to what you need faster.
I never found Platinum's bag to be slower than anything else, if it is the difference must be negligible.

It's just to look more reasonable. Sinnoh fans think putting DP at the bottom and claiming Plat "saved Sinnoh" makes the gap believable, when really you could justify 1 tier of difference at most based on the few improvements made.
