Why didn't Pokemon keep the Sugimori style? It's so iconic and has so much soul. Even when modern gen pokemon are redone in Sugistyle they look so much better.
It's so weird that Pokemon has gone with such a generic anime, and plastic/rubber simplified, flat looking design for the pokemon these days.
