I used to main Incineroar but the most competent opponents I fought the less I was able to get back to stage, so I made Bowser Jr. my primary. I still play Incineroar in friendly and "casual competitive" settings though, which is most of my current playtime given I stopped going to irl tournies due to Covid and haven't worked up the will to continue to this day.

Incineroar is unironically the best Pokemon to play in the game.

>Pikachu while considered top tier is complicated
>Pichu is basically a worse Pikachu plus it hurts itself
>Charizard is the only fun one out of the trio for PT

To this day I alternate between Captain Falcon/Ness/Luigi/Jigglypuff because to me they still have this mysticism about them since they were unlockable in the original game.
I don't think they're ever getting cut either, so every Smash game I tend to play one of them first to get a grasp on the new mechanics.

I play Inkling because she's fast and fun and I play Min Min because she deals with a lot of characters Inkling can't and is also very fun + cute.
When I was a little kid I mained Pikachu and Kirby though, nowadays I play Greninja sometimes, that Dash Attack is killer.

I've been maining Jigglypuff since Brawl, but I dislike that her edgeguarding became worse in Smash Ultimate compared to how it was in Smash 4.
