Well it's not like a Dracovish or any of the gen 8 fossil Pokémon would be naturally occurring in the wild like an Aurorus or any other fossil Pokémon would. And they're supposed to allude to the early days of paleontology where bones would be slapped together without second thought because "OMGZ BIG FUCKING LIZARD!!!".
