It went up to that from 14 cents a piece day prior. Some dude on reddit posted proof of him buying a million doge, for 72 cents a piece. Within seconds, the shit plumetted down to 8 cents a piece and that's where it stays to this day, two years later. Whenever people start talking about investing in volatile shit like this. I remember that dude, that turned 720 thousand dollars into 80 grand.
