Palkia is fine, if a little awkward, but it looks like a complete design.
Dials looks…unfinished, like it was a rough draft they ran out of time to tweak. The imbalanced body proportions, the weird leg gradient, the throat thing…it’s irredeemable.

The issue with Dialga is they tried to give him a thin Arceus body while retaining the big chest-diamond. I’m not sure how they could’ve done it without it looking awkward.

Altered the proportions? Made the throat thing slightly smaller? It looks too front heavy…maybe shrink the front legs slightly too?
The model looks better than the art, but that’s not saying much. Whoever has been doing the official art lately is absolutely terrible.

The issue is that they aren't intimidating enough to be "incomprehensible holy beings" but are too much of a clusterfuck to be "cool" kaijus like their normal forms.
So they sit in this awkward middle ground were they fail at both, and their original forms kind off had this issue already.
