pokepark sucks, both of them. they are baby games.
rumble is shovelware by literal definition
ranger is good, ranger 1 is the least good but they get exponentially better with each entry

Ranger is fucking awful, who are you kidding. Shadows has one of the worst tutorial sections I've seen in any game period and all of the games have atrocious stories with tons of unskippable dialogue. They're all like Gen 7 on crack except the gameplay sucks too.
Only thing they have going for them is actually looking decent which the actual DS mainlines failed to do

I'm mixed on ranger, I played Guardian Signs and loved it, but I tried the others just didn't really like them, if you haven't played any of them definitely play Guardian Signs first, it's the best in the spin off series

Unless you played them as a kid I don't see how any of the Ranger games are worth playing. I had to force myself through Shadows after that fucking atrocious tutorial and even Guardians was just not especially fun.
I actually even kind of liked the first one in spite of its clunkiness if only because it wasn't as ridiculously overbearing with its """"story""".

Rumble, the first one, was far from "abhorrent". It was pretty fun for 15 bucks, and then Rumble Blast expanded on it. The Wii U one was abhorrent.

the original rumble was pretty fun when it first came out for the co-op. the Japanese wad was out like a year earlier so maybe having to play that and not being able to read anything made it more fun

I think it probably originates from Rumble U it was the only Pokemon game on the Wii U for a couple of years and the Wii U was in a major drought. Not to mention, it's a game that you had to buy figures for IRL, proto amiibos basically.

all of em are good. pokepark was way too baby unfortunately and they fucked up the controls in 2. also i cant evolve into raichu so yeah fuck them for that. pokepark definitely appeals more to women and young kids so its obviously not on the level with normal games therefore i get its automatically considered "bad" here and its no wonder you people hate it but i have no idea why you hate rumble. like yeah its simple but its a fun little game so whats the issue. cleaning up your full list in rumble sucks complete ass though and makes me not play the game anymore. really sucks they removed shinies too like damn what the fuck.

Most of the people on this board now will likely have started the series at gens 3-5 and picked up Ranger to play even more Pokemon, kids are dumb and play anything
I'm the same way and revisiting Ranger a year or two ago I just couldn't finish it, any of them. Can easily blaze through a playthrough of Emerald or Platinum in an afternoon but Ranger goes out of its way to be as slow as possible

I remember Rumble Blast being decent as well. I think it had a decent story even. All I remember about the post game is something like having to recruit the legendaries over and over again.
