>Celebi comes to MC's time, telepathically communicates that it needs MC's help>Name, character creation>Wake up in Ilex forest by the shrine, found by Kurt ancestor who takes you to the nearest town, which would be Goldenrod/Osaka.>Get told that evil (shadow) pokemon are doing evil monster things and need to be stopped.>Celebi is your plot guide and directs you to the shadow pokemon nobles/titans/whateverfuckyou.>Beating them lets Celebi purify them and earns the trust of the locals>You can catch, use and purfiy wild shadow pokemon, purifying gives you item rewards.>Plot happens, climax reached>Brass Tower burns>Beasts are born>Maybe go to KantoThe tower burned down 150 years prior to GSC/HGSS, meaning that if the tower burns down in the game, it would take place either immediately before or during the Bakumatsu. You could derive some interesting plot elements from that, but I'd prefer it if it took place during Heian, Sengoku, or pre-Bakumatsu Edo.
