Yeah, it would have been cool if the ability ensured that, accuracy nonwithstanding, a status move will hit no matter what.
And being gen 9 and giving every ability a special caveat, make it so that Spore specifically has the same accuracy as Sleep Powder.

It can spore Gholdengo and Garganacl, which is potentially useful. The downside is that it's not a good general purpose spore user since unless you use spore when the opponent switches out you will always go last.
At least it has decent stats otherwise so it can do things other than just spam spore.

It hinges on spore more than Breloom does. Breloom can do choice sets with no Spore and abuses things like Technician Drill Runs, Stab bullet seed and Close Combat

Mycelium Might makes status moves go last in their relevant priority bracket. So Spore isn't -1 priority, it's just treated as if Toedscruel has 0 speed. Toedscruel Spore will still move before any negative priority moves like roar or trick room, and protect will activate with +4 priority, just slower than any other moves with the same priority.

The issue with Toedscruel isn't Mycelium Might.
It will get to Spore something almost always in any match. Negative priority Spore is something a lot of things would gladly have rather than no sleep or inaccurate sleep.
Toedscruel's issue is that it doesn't do anything else.
It's supposed to be defensive but it has no recovery other than Giga Drain, which does mediocre damage at best.
Grass/Ground is a combo that just doesn't work as Torterra showed.
Redundant coverage and defensively awful set of weaknesses including the one that really ruins it: 4x to ice.
