Each stat has around 65k max exp which equals +61 points,at lvl100, roughly +30 around lvl50, in each stat. This exp is gained based of each Pokemon's base stat after being KO'd. For ex knocking out a chansey gives you 250 exp for health, 5 for attack, 5 for defense etc. Vitamins are capped from being using in any stat once the 25k exp mark is reached, after that the rest comes for solely grinding. The formula for how it works is exponential, so vitamins alone will get you around +20per stat/lv 50 and +40 at lv100.
