Americans can also go their entire lives without having to ever learn the name of any other country aside from the superpowers. You don't have that choice, and if you were in our shoes, you'd see why most of us don't bother. Keep seething though, I'm sure all that "culture and history" matters when it didn't accomplish anything our country managed to.
