I hope not. Iron out SV's kinks so they can be the solid 9/10-10/10 that they already are (just pretty unpolished) and then release the next main gen on Switch's successor. I'm fine to get BW remakes on Switch if they'll be anything like BDSP, just better than those games hopefully. Man I'm not even sure I want a BW remake by GF or ILCA, how did they go so wrong.

The modern console generation is around 7 years on average and the switch released in 2017, meaning we could see the successor release next year. If that's the case, we could still get Gen X in 2025, seeing as LGPE came out in the second year of the switch's life.

They're waiting for BotW 1.2 to release then they'll announce it for release in late 2024, Gen 10 in late 2025.
