You should play this super good and obscure game called Pokemon Black & White. It’s sooo underrated that nobody has ever heard of it except for me. I was 7 years old when I first played it and it was soooo good and underrated, no cap.

Furthermore, due to the internet, Zoomers are too atomized to stereotype like older generations. They vary greatly in tastes and mannerisms. Two Zoomers who grew up in the same place will like completely different things, have different beliefs, and talk differently.

Hoenstly the farther gen Z gets into adulthood the more I think calling it a generation at all is kind of pointless. Of people born in the ~15 years definining the generation, people from the first few are similar to the stereotypes of millennials, and people from the last few are not far off of gen Alpha, leaving maybe 5 years of "zoomers" who couldn't be considered anything else, but who aren't really known for much other than being teens right now.

I showed my 7 year old niece this picture of Charmander and she knew what it was. But also showed a picture of Tepig and Snivy. She didn’t know what it was. I believe that Pokemon is healing from the Black and White disaster

I think I was about 13-14 when it came out. At the time I thought Pokemon's gameplay was getting too stale and I already played everything from Gen 1 through 4. I will say playing it early was wild and I don't mean a couple weeks early, it was more like 6 months early. Battles were fine since animations/BP gave enough context but playing the overworld with no moon knowledge was a terrible idea.

You just reminded me, when B/W came out, I ended up finding a patched rom of the game that (badly) translated the game into English. This was a few months before it was set to release in the US, so I got a chance to see what the game was like before it came over. I had played HG before and it was the 2nd game I had played after completely dropping Pokemon after Gold/Sliver, but I remembered enjoying it.
