People actually think SV is getting DLC. The SWSH DLC sold like shit. No way TPC is going to let Game Freak keep doing DLC when a third version is going to make them 5x as much money. You are getting Ultra Scarlet and Ultra Violet for $60.

It sold about half of SS's sales, so about 12m (which would make it the highest-selling rehash-equivalent in series' history).
You forget it went on sale many times in the past while and back when it got originally mentioned, SS had just broken the 20m mark.

Nigga they literally datamined DLC data. We knew about the Trio Paradoxes months before the game released because of leakers.
Also the game itself sets it up clearly, unlike SwSh. They literally made SV and it's story with DLC in mind. SwSh"s DLC was clearly just tacked on, which is also why no one really cared about it.

it costs exactly the same to make and you can charge twice as much for it. hell, tpc will probably even follow zelda's example and charge $70 for the third version this time.
