I don't know why, but the Indigo Plateau in HGSS always felt insanely comfy to me compared to other Pokémon League locations.

I think it's the fields of flowers flowing in the wind, the fresh green grass and trees, and the grand Indigo League building towering over you. It looked especially scenic during the sunset. It gives you this sense of "you made it, take a breather".
