The PLA quest doesn't mention any children, though, only that the guy encountered a Froslass while almost freezing to death in the mountains, only to wake up in the house of a beautiful woman. He fell in love and lived with her for several years until one day he found his old journal and brought up the encounter with the Froslass to her. Next thing he knew the woman and the village he had been living in were gone and he was left wandering in the snow lamenting why he had told her. However, the NPC you turn the quest in for is implied to be the man's descendant.
