>>53295341Update is promised for "Spring", which is concerning terminology as Spring doesn't technically begin till late March. But it could also just mean end of February/start of March if they aren't pedantic about it. They usually choose the february Pokemon Presents to be when they remind people they should pay for Bank/HOME again, so it's a maybe for Monday.
>>53295367Yes I don't think Series 3 could just be "The four dark legendaries and MAYBE charizard/cinderace/greninja/quagsire/perrserker", I think charizard + co. would only be added when the HOME update has been launched, it would not be considered fair to have time limited Pokemon that would only really be available to people who have been playing since launch, so HOME would have to be available before they become available and adding only four new Pokemon would just seem silly.
It COULD happen though, which then leads to the worst case scenario: Series 3 (April and May) are just the four dark legendaries, and the HOME transfers don't become legal till June. And that then means the HOME update could be anytime between start of March and end of May. And it could be that, because imagine SV's DLC is doing the summer and winter update thing exactly like SWSH. That means Series 4 is HOME transfers added to the meta, and the SV DLC launches in July, with the first SV DLC mons then made legal in series 5 which would start in August. It makes a worrying amount of sense that they could pace it like this.
>>53297553If it means people are picking less shitty Pokemon for Raids then I don't consider it a problem. In SWSH it was because the Raids were already so easy and using Legendaries just stomped that shit. But in SV thus far legendaries are not really that good for high level Raids, but that's just because the two SV legendaries just don't have the stat spreads or move pools to really be useful in them. I mean, Miraidon is fine but Koraidon is just "kills himself and make everyone fail the raid" guy.
