it doesn't need to have done anything to your team in a playthrough
it doesn't need to be an objectively bad design
it just needs to be something you dislike, for no good reason

Basically anything that either 1) has a dumb, bulky, clunky design, 2) is needlessly bipedal or 3) is a pornmon. Most cutesy nu-pokemon i don't like either, but most of them aren't as annoying as the former.

I actually really like the mr mime line, the only exception being galarian mr mime. That thing sucks ass. It looks like some shitty anthropomorphized kirby character from deviantart. All the others are nice tho. Mr mime is probably the weakest, of the three tho.

Hated it long before it was good in competitive. I think part of it is that Marill was being hyped up a lot before G/S release, and I expected something pretty cool from its evo, but just ended up with a stretched out Marril. I know there were pokemon like that already, but that one just pissed me off in particular for some reason.

Any Monkey line. I don't have a phobia, I'm not afraid of monkeys irl or in Pokemon. Just something about Monkeys and their dumb monkeyness brings out this seething hate. Infernape, the elemental trio, doesn't matter, I hate them all.

Most Fighting types. Some of them are okay but all of the others are boring ass "hurrrrr i can punch/kick the enemy like every other pokemon" on top of having weak designs.
Also, any pokemon that has Sturdy. Fuck Sturdy, I'd absolutely love it if it got nerfed back to its gen 3-4 uselessness.

Forgot to mention, of the fighting types, none are worse than Tyrogue.
>almost always extremely late into the game, have already seen many fighting types that are a better fit for the team
>no moveset
>needs to be micromanaged while leveling
>after it evolves you get one of three pokemon of varying degrees of awfulness

I've hated Pelipper ever since I first fought one in Ruby. I hate its stupid fucking face and I hate how bulky it is. I could never kill it in one hit since I was a retarded kid trying to mow through the game with a Blaziken. It just pissed off whenever I had to fight one and I've kinda held that grudge ever since. It would've been nice if it was an obscure shitmon so I wouldn't have to see it everywhere, but then it got drizzle and became good in competitive so it's fucking everywhere. Idk it just pisses me off

While I don't disagree with anything you say, you aren't tricked into using Igglybuff as hard as you're tricked into Happiny. Even in Crystal the Odd Egg is only something like a 1/8 chance of getting it, and even then the evolution method doesn't outright lie to you.
Hell, the Oval Stone in general is arguably the worst item in the game. And yes, when I was 13 I was stupid enough to lug a Happiny around, thinking it would eventually evolve via happiness because the fucking thing is named Happiny.
