>AI said it's impossible to make it work without the tera crystals/energy, which are connected to Terapagos and is who actually makes all the work, which is not time travelling, the professor doesn't know that because:Doesn't suggest anything other than the crystals and Terapagos being a strong power source. Also that line you're referring to was about the AI.
>The professors saw in their childhood book the cool designs and became obsessed with bringing them, never actually knowing if they were real.I'm failing to see what that has to do with anything especially since we can confirm that the book in fact real due to the other details like the herba mystica, the metal plate, the spiral formation of area Zero and so on. To say that the paradoxes weren't real is just sheer denial of the book itself and the scientific nature of it.
>while the real theme is looking for what you treasure the most. In the professors case are the childhood cool fakemons designs. The theme of the game wasn't so much treasure as much as the hard work and effort needed to realise a dream/treasure etc and that you can't simply wish it. That's a theme in all of the stories
Nemona wanted a rival but you had to train up to her level
Arven wanted to desperately heal his friend and trekked across the region for it.
Penny, well, you had to take down star but putting it together was the dream of her and her friends.
None of them magically wished something into existence.
>In every single page of the official site it says they resemble things from an occult magazine never actually saying yes, this thing actually existedBecause THAT'S a red herring.
We know in game that they actually exist and that Occulture simply embellished on it to make an interesting piece.
Also if the professors took Occulture to heart then Violet would be a very different game and wouldn't require a time machine.
