Realistically it'd be more worthwhile than sudden Johto or Hoenn just because Kalos while perhaps while of the least memorable regions as a whole(ignoring Galar which had other stuff overshadow the game being shallow).
But having that sort of legacy means that people who want attention very much have latched onto Kalos. Your average pokefag does not really care about the region, atleast in that sense. But they will feel hype from people promoting it.
