You're the next director for TPC/Gamefreak. You have to pitch the next new Pokémon game that will keep the series selling high and restore good PR.
What would you pitch? Here's mine:
>Open world Kanto and Johto which have globalised more, set 23 years after GSC/HGSS, so all of the cities have changed and there are no more routes
>600 Pokémon
>Some are new, some are Kantonian forms of Gen 2-now, some are the original 150
>Level scaling
>PLA catching mechanics
>There is a battle frontier, Red is its head, having come back from Alola, he's just there, chilling with no cringe edgy deviant art crap, having fun
>There are three branching stories, each with a rival of sorts, one dealing with catching the new forms (Megas are back, maybe) where you get to know Blue's son and his Eevee who is the egg of Blue's eeveelution, who is an asshole but is only so because his father is thought to be dead/missing but is reunited with him in the DLC and his grandfather, Professor Oak is dying the gym challenge which has a conventional rival who is assertive but friendly, and an entirely new evil Team who is there to fill the power vacuum of Team Rocket, where you eventually turn an evil rival into a good one by getting him onto your side, which tie into the surprise plot to go to the extra, remote post-game Shinjoh region to catch new Mons and prevent them from capturing an Arceus egg left behind by Arceus to manipulate it to create more life for them for profit
I feel like this would be a good compromise between getting old diehard fans and new fans on board.
