The last game came out and every single normie I asked (who usually still like pokemon and end up playing most mainline games) didnt even know it released.
That is not a joke, it dropped so pathetically quiet. Sun and moon was a big deal game.
Sword and shield was a big game.

I dont even know what the new one is called, I know what Galar region is, not what this new one is. I dont even know what the fucking starters look like and you normally cannot escape pokemon posts/ ads so I knew all the sm/ss ones without playing those games.
Its legit dead, the designs say that too. It was a steady decline but ss had SOME resemblance to pokemon.
