It either doesn't say Paldea or it's misspelled. It's difficult to tell because the Galar script doesn't have set values and are used for different sounds depending on the word, some characters in the Galar League have autographs that are their Japanese names but some don't, etc. But in general there are no examples of a Galar letter representing a group of sounds at once

Yeah the script is completely nonsensical, you're not supposed to be able to read it. There is no logic or system to it, there's only a few "words" that show up repeatedly like "AREA0"
You can see it on the book cover, in the book and, most interestingly, on the mysterious metal plate

That's why I like it so much. It has a strong and believable aesthetic on par with a natural language script, especially in examples where it's handwritten. Using the sound values for letters on the Galar League autorgraph cards from Sword and Shield (because they're consistent with each other) on Terapagos's name in the Scarlet book yields the word Wimzea (Whimsy) which is really fitting. Makes me wonder why they didn't go with that in the end.

I find it kind of odd that heath and Sada/Turo describe it as having hexagons, but when you look at it, the only Hexagon is the middle piece of his shell, the rest of the shapes with the types on them are all Pentagons/5 sided.
