We've had objectmon since Generation 1, but never as starters!

Would you ever accept an objectmon as a starter?

It's all subjective. I love objectmons like the Magnemite and Litwick lines, but hate the Klink line. If they're able to pull it off, I'm all for it.

I like objectmons, and while I wouldn’t mind one as a starter, I doubt they’d ever make one. Starters are designed to have as broad an appeal as possible and a lot of people have it out for objectmons.

It doesn't matter if I did or didn't, kids likely wouldn't, therefore Game Freak aren't going to try it.
Stop trying to re-invent the wheel, they stick to the same old tropes every Gen, because that best sells the kids on what they're doing.

Objectmons are too obtuse to be starters. It needs to be something easy to relate to they can stick on all the marketing. It's why we've never had a fish starter. No limbs makes it hard to envision going on a journey with one.

I'd rather have a chandelier as a starter than a man in a fursuit.

Jokes aside, I do enjoy some objectmons like the Litwick line, Klefki, Sinistea and Polteageist, most food-based Pokemon and the Magnemite line.
So yes, objectmons all the way if the alternative is weird looking bipedal furries.
