The implication seems to be that normal animal exist as well, we just don't see them. In SV specifically, you can buy meat products for sandwiches such as prosciutto, ham, burgers etc. There's also paella that actually shows mussles still within their shell.
Then there's also food where parts of Pokémon are being eaten, but it seems like you can obtain those parts without killing them. For example Klawf claws and the folds along the rim of Toedscruel that can just be broken off. Arven owns a Toedscruel, so he probably uses those for his cooking sometimes. So I guess, strictly speaking the answer is yet. I don't think Pokémon are being slaughtered for food, though. Just in general, I mean.
