Doubles is a twerpy little match that takes 2 minutes while singles is a glorious half hour war with long scale conditioning and reads that make me feel something. Doubles requires, mathematically speaking, proportionately more reads, given that the moves and Pokémon are literally multiplied. Just be honest: you don’t have the brainpower to handle that many options and prefer a boring stall match where you repeat the same moves over and over.
