>>53390344>but that there's not exactly a massive gulf between some of what's been banned and what has stayed.I'd honestly disagree on this. The gulf between something like Moon and Chien Pao is pretty fucking huge, as is say, Chi Yu and any other special attacker, or Pult and Mane. Like there's strong shit in the tier right now, but there's nothing quite on the level of "Blissey OHKO'd by neutral special attack" or "Rape Ape spams 300 BP Ghost move because you tried to chip it down"
>I suppose the other question would be if people are enjoying SV ubers in its current state with all the broken mons, or if that tier is somehow lacking in skill level because of itFrom what I've heard it's kind of a shitshow right now because it's in a place where all the brokens don't really check each other too well, but don't quote me on that. It's not the meme tier that SS Ubers was at this point but it's not great either.
Ubers tends to be weird in practice because once all the legendaries are back they tend to mostly balance each other out, though it also becomes way, WAY more centralized than OU could ever be. SS Ubers in particular was kind of a shitshow in terms of how centralized it was (Yveltal hitting over 70% usage for example)
>Compared to what SV was like in the few weeks after release, I think that's good evidence that SV isn't innately imbalanced compared to any other generation.I'd agree, but only because again, all the insane shit was banned pretty fast. For all the shit that's been banned, I think SV OU is in a pretty solid place, Wake aside.
