I guess it doesn't help that they're impossible to use in-game, due to their myriad of weaknesses and GF's retarded insistence on the type being flooded with DEFENSIVE mon
not to mention their mostly-weak arsenal of moves, their extremely late-game appearance in every game I care about, and the fact that every water type and more can learn Ice Beam or Blizzard which nullifies the only reason you'd ever want to use an ice type on your team
It sucks- I like the type in concept, and I like some of its concepts, but so many of the designs are just bad and there's no reason to ever use them in-game.
Fighting type is second because even though they keep using different styles of fighting for the designs they all come out looking like the same boring humanoid. Hoenn is the only generation that got Fighting-type designs right, every single other one stumbles in some respect. Still better than ice, though.
