Galades are noticable as a problem because of this ignoring of societal norms common for this regional varient, the idea of their blocky armguards and pompadour was actually to mimic the wooden swords Japanese Delinquints in stories would use. This is idea is taken and then exagerated to being more blocky then the blades off normal Gallades.
Also, this regional Gallade is also playing on the Prince Charming idea seen in greaser movies where the punk/jock gets all the ladies by acting the rebel.
