Like with the slowpoke tail thing, there were so many drug PSAs and ADs back then, that I actually thought thats what the slowpoke tails were, a narcotic. That's why the Team Rocket was trying to get them to sell, and for absurdly high prices too. It's a Slowpoke, a weird creature that lives in slow motion, probably gives one hell of an insane trip.
