Maybe because I'm not head over heels for Emerald (I do believe it's a great game but I don't care that much about fighting both teams) and I don't care about the Battle Frontier that much (sure I would've liked it to be included but realistically I've only ever enjoyed three of its capacities in Emerald).
They're pretty solid remakes, 3D Hoenn looks beautiful, the characters got great redesigns, the DexNav and Sky Soaring were cool, and the writing of both plot and characters definitely improved compared to RSE.
