>>53394409>>Explain why there are no volcarona fossils ever found.Fossils are extremely difficult to form. You need a specific set of conditions. This is true in real life. Surely you don't think that we know every single species that ever existed in the past, do you?
>>Explain how there is an ancient mega salamance when mega evolution was created when the ultimate weapon was fired 3000 years ago. It's not an ancient mega salamence? Plus, why can't mega salamence be a callback to its ancient, more primal and animalistic form? Mega evolution is supposed to be painful and cause rampages anyways, no? So it would make sense.
>>Explain how there are ancient magnets.Magnetism has always existed
>>How there are ancient modern pokeballs when even voltorb didn't look like that 100 years ago.Don't have an answer to that one. Which pokeballs were older than that?
>>How the fuck there is a billion years old jigglypuff when life wasn't even multicelular back then? From the violet game which isn't even where screaming tail is from, and is from some magazine that could be the equivalent of newyork mag
>>Why no one has any gender, past or future? It's more that they have an incompatible genome with modern pokemon. There is no setting for that, so they just put "no gender" instead.
Plus, these pokemon only RESEMBLE modern pokemon. We have numerous examples of ancient animals that LOOK like modern animals, only to find out that they are on complete opposite sides of the evolutionary tree and have very little in common. For example, cartilagenous fish (sharks) split away from bony fish (those with bones) over 420 million years ago. Yet if you put a barracuda next to a mako shark, people would think they're relatively closely related.
