Sinnoh isn't fucked on power due to favoritism, it's just a byproduct of what they decided to build the game around.

Except even Sinnoh's early game bird is broken as fuck and one could even argue that making 1/4 of the Sinnoh dex be better versions of the early gens could be a form of favortism as well.

Garchomp is unironically better, the clump of base 100 speed mons means 102 is basically as good as 105, and Zarude trading offenses for some bulk isn't really worth it if this is the kind of spread you're going for. and of course that's not even mentioning other ways Garchomp is better

I enjoy using these guys. People shit on gamefreak for doing this but I genuinely think they keep making intentionally shittier pokemon for people who like going the extra mile to make use of them.

Sets Spikes, fucks up Great Tusk and Corviknight if they try to stop you, good mon. TankChomp is also a good set but I personally miss having Toxic on it, Endure + Rocky Helmet is always funny though.

if it's got coverage options it'll be able to kill pretty much anything, and you can just pair it with psychic terrain mon to avoid getting prioritied
real threat is sash/sturdy but multihit moves are a lot more viable now with loaded dice so even those can be avoided
