I just got this through a surprise trade. There's no way this thing isn't cheated.
Can I get in trouble for using it? I only started playing recently and I don't know nintendo's stance on this stuff.

I got these kind of shinies too. Mostly eevelutions, or shiny quaxly today. I put XP candy XL to my bag and then release them. If they also have cool balls, i've breed them and after that, i just release these mons. All of them are "sparkly" named

Not really. You can get a mon like this with some investment. The fact that somebody just gave it away is the suprising part. Nintendo already said that using genned mons won't get you in trouble, only generating and distribuiting them.

You can't get in trouble for it. It is hacked, but If the trade went through then it's considered legal. They run a legality check for anything traded online. A poorly made hack wouldn't be able to reach you.

I got one that was a Shiny Hisuian Zeraora that had perfect IVs named Sparkly as well. I wonder if someone is out there trading things like this with that name.being their calling card or something.

The official stance going by the Home statement is that you should be fine, they say that they go after the people hacking/injecting/cheating mons rather then people that get them in trades from the people who do so.
