It currently prioritizes emotions such as surprise, which is why we see so many IRL Wojaks on the thumbnails. It also seems to enjoy the color red (specially on arrows) and some crazy stuff on the background. In the past it favored anger, which is why we had so many "angry reviewers" that quietly went away after a major change.
