I've outgrown Pokemon. For some years I've felt alienated by the new games, yet they've garnered a bigger audience than even the ones I'd grown up with. I hated Sw/Sh. And I know I'd hate Scarlet and Violet. But the kids of today seem to love them. They're having the same experiences I did as a child, and I'm okay with that.

I'll keep on loving and playing the past games forever, but I've come to peace knowing that Pokemon isn't what it used to be. What about you, /vp/oreons?
