A more schizophrenic individual than myself might posture that this has been their intent since perhaps gen 7.
As for games, you would just need to wait until some individual produces a pokephilia game (A romance/vn would be preferable to straight up porn, as it tarnishes the Pokemon name not so much), and conveniently forget to sue or cease and desist them like GF usually does. And who knows, maybe acquire a bit of their profits.
