In Europe, they're sometimes smart enough to understand context. Other times, they add a disclaimer; the German release of Tokyo Revengers has a disclaimer at the beginning that explains the difference between the manji and the Nazi swastika (pic related).
Asia is where it actually came from, so it's not usually a problem there.
Latin America doesn't care.
We don't care what Africa thinks.
