BDSP was dogshit because DP were some of the worst games in the series, a 1:1 remake of BW would at least be passible, but yeah I agree after that shitshow I don't think anyone actually wants remakes now that the standard set by HGSS and FRLG are out the fucking window.

Gen 5 is not even close to being the best Gen. in fact, it was considered the worst immediately upon release and only looks better nowadays because Gens 7, 8 and 9 were so bad.

BDSP is also too faithful to DP without Platinum details and even keeping old bugs.
But BW, it's a simple plot driven romp without too much extra fluff. There's nothing really to mess up, unless you don't want then to make it 3D.

I'd like to think that they would do a dual bladed sword situation again if it turns out it gets neutered. We can either get an remake that does enough cool stuff among the bullshit like ORAS, or a sterile and failed remake like BDSP but it's carried by a new style Pokemon game based on Gen 5 like PLA
