I didn't pick and choose, I said that the game is giving us information, and while not all of it is reliable as 'canon', all of it IS there to help set the stage that the story is setting.
The claims about the Paradox Mon's abilities is made up bullshit, which I already said is the case, but the stuff I'm pointing out with the fossils is not one of those claims because it has nothing to do with whether Brute Bonnet can hit the fucking griddy or whatever and everything to do with stuff you don't need to even know what Paradox Pokemon are to understand.
The point of the game saying 'there's no fossils of this guy' isn't to spark a debate on what the rate of fossilization is on dinosaurs or whatever people are talking about, nor is it supposed to just be thrown out the window just because its from Occulture. It's to make you go "weird that this Pokemon that has supposedly been in Area Zero all this time never left any fossils." That's the reason that dialog is in the game, nothing more and nothing less, if they didn't want us to think about the implications of this fact, they wouldn't write it in the first place.
