Because the Pokemon Company and GF know they no longer have to try. Their cattle of religiously devout fans will buy the same game over and over again, and they can keep removing and dumbing down features with no consequence. For fuck's sake, we even got a dunsparce with an added segment as a "new" pokemon.

I really like the design, caught a shiny one in a Love Ball. In general, I really like this gen. Slither Wing was instantly one of my top 5 Pokémon from all gens.

It's got an actually correct beak compared to so many flamingo products.
There's a good number of mon I like and don't like but that goes for any gen. Even your favourite gen has shit pokemon in it.

SV designs aren't very special but they make up for it by giving the mons more personality. Flamigo is a lunatic and chases after the player on sight, and their wide open eyes makes them look even crazier.
