He might be a bit tough to hug due to him floating in the air, and not having as much fluff as Slither Wing, but I'd like to imagine his fluff feels very warm. A decent choice to hug/cuddle with overall.

Very, very fluffy. Not as warm as Volcarona but there's plenty of space to hug and nuzzle in with him. It can't fly either, meaning he's easy to keep up with. The best choice to cuddle and sleep on.
>Iron Moth
No Fluff and a sharp, metallic body make him the worse choice by far to hug, but I'd like to imagine he generates lots of heat, so he'd be nice to be around on a cold day. It's like a radiator. Although the part Poison typing means he might be emitting some dangerous heat as well.

hard pass, it'd be metallic and sharp. Although like >>53425636 said it would be hot like a radiator, so nice to have around during winter.

Compared to Iron Moth it's infinitely more huggable, it's nice and soft thanks to all that fluff and not being made of metal. It's also not a constant fire hazard but it's not warm at all and also a little too large, which is a downside. I feel like it'd be too easy for it to accidentally crush me or something.

The perfect mix between the two, soft and fluffy like Slither Wing, but warm like Iron Moth while actually being able to control its heat I assume. Also pretty much the perfect hugging size.

that said I want to eat Volcarona

I feel Slither Wing would be plenty warm to hug just because of all the floof. The fluff also acts as a cushion so you won't get crushed.

It'd be warm in the same way that bodies normally produce a bit of heat. Volc on the other hand would be more like hugging a big hot water bottle
