>>53432002>>53432365i think the idea of the mantis evolution was branching two seperate animals into one evolution due to common themes (think remoraid-octillery) and turning them into the same species, however i do think stunfisk's inspiration is too unique to just completely replace it with a stingray. it's a cool idea though, since a stingray is both a flat marine creature and provides shocks, so thematically it makes sense
