3 is a transitory game and IMO still worthwhile, although it lacks so many Persona 1&2 elements that it is better off being considered a Persona spinoff. 4 and 5 are irredeemable.

Battles are molasses and the encounter rate is jacked up to an absurd rate. Also while the story is good, it too is glacial.
If you're not an ADHD riddled zoomer who needs to speed through games and can appreciate a more deliberate, slower paced experience it's fine, great even. But just fair warning before you go in

Well, you're right but also by virtue of being mass commercial media it's also the most widely consumed, hence mainstream. And it's true that the heavily funded media companies, due to their heavy funding, will be focused on primarily on pushing a worldview that support the hegemony, so it's not like they don't have an agenda.
