Got one H-Zorua (in a moon ball) through wonder trade. Bred it to oblivion and pumped almost all of them (100+) back into wonder trade. Left only a couple of females. I will not hesitate to trade them to anyone interested or to breed more for that purpose.

While correct so what before raids you needed to trade for Pokémon. Now you'll say but I didn't need online from gen 4 to 7 for the Gts which is a moot point considering Nintendo didn't ask for money for online, besides that you still had to trade the exclusive. You can just get someone that has your opposite version to host a raid locally

You can change the ball, Zorua and regional Zorua count as the same Pokemon for ball inheritance, so if you catch a regular Zorua in a moon ball and breed with Hisui it will be 50/50 moon/pokeball

What are you on about? Walking Wake and Iron Leaves had nothing to do with the DLC - they were available to anyone who had the games, regardless of whether or not you even looked at the DLC, let alone actually preordered it. The Hisuian Zororark was a preorder, but that's not anything you'd get locked out of ever owning when you can just trade one from PLA.

They will be natively available in the DLC at some point. They are effectively the equivalent of the Galarian Slowpoke event in SWSH, a small tease of what’s to come that even non-DLC players could access but you cannot naturally acquire on your own until then.
These Pokémon are only once per save despite sharing the same species strengths totals as Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon. Much like the Galarian Slowpoke being once per save.

Yeah, but that's still my point - they aren't locked behind the DLC, they're available (or WERE available, before the event period ended) to anyone regardless. You didn't need the DLC to get them at all, and if they actually do show up again as DLC 'mons, you can bet your ass they'll be tradable, so it's still possible to get them without paying.

Ain't about the convenience, dude. The argument was that they were paywalled and you had no other way of getting them, which is wrong. The raids were open to everyone regardless of who did or did not get the DLC, and they'll be easily obtainable through the GTS after the DLC drops for those who are still choosing not to pay. It may not be as convenient as it would be if you just payed for the DLC, but that doesn't change the fact that OP's claim is bullshit.

In his defence, we have had national and regional toggles and options in the past.
That said, pokemon has 1000+ unique designs not counting forms which may add another 100 to that, no other monster tamer series has to constantly update that many monsters.
And even with the dexcut it still has one of the largest rosters of monsters.
