>>53441670Usually if you see them write the name down in official media somewhere in Roman letters which actually happens pretty often, or if it's very clear the name is already based off a word/name in another language that starts with L. Ex. Lillie like mentioned.
Yeah of course there are some instances where the Japanese creators writing down the name just fuck up and write it wrong, but generally seeing how they choose to write it down helps.
IDK if her name was actually shown spelled out as Liko in the Japanese ads (I think it might have been but I haven't been following this too closely), but if it was, then yeah, Liko is the spelling that's intended.
